About Us<\/h2>\n

A Florentine family\u2014perhaps like many others\u2014yet distinguished by an innate passion for fashion and creativity, crafting fur garments and accessories for nearly 100 years, since the distant 1925.<\/p>\n

It all began with an innovative idea by Bianca and Ferdinando Cioni <\/strong>in 1925, followed by the experimentation of their son Giancarlo who, in 1948, together with his wife Maria Grazia, moved the atelier to Piazza del Duomo. There, the space was expanded with an in-house artisanal workshop, enabling the Cioni family to pursue continuous experimentation and evolution in their designs: cutting techniques, bespoke tailoring, and\u2014most importantly\u2014the birth of pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter in the world of fur.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4095″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1763049828069{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Patrizia and Ilaria began their journey within this remarkable Florentine artisanal reality at a very young age. Two sisters\u2014different yet alike\u2014bound by many shared passions.
\nPatrizia, the mind and heart of the company, loves creating garments that are ever lighter and more comfortable for dynamic women who never compromise on femininity or practicality. She has been the creative force behind Cioni\u2019s collections since the mid-1970s.
\nIlaria, a little younger and involved in the company since childhood, has a natural talent for organization. She oversees advertising and the accessories department, which has grown significantly in recent years.
\nThe tradition continues with Martina and Niccol\u00f2, Patrizia\u2019s children.
\nMartina was just five years old when she first spent time in the atelier. Instead of playing with dolls, she preferred to craft her early \u201cmodels\u201d using leftover scraps scattered around. After completing classical studies, she attended Polimoda with great passion.
\nFollowing her time at Polimoda, she worked briefly as a pattern maker for an external firm. Today\u2014after 23 years in the fur industry\u2014she has gained extraordinary experience, allowing her to collaborate with designers and, together with her mother, brother, and aunt, develop finished products and sample collections.
\nNiccol\u00f2, slightly younger, also completed classical studies but unlike his sister, chose to enter the workshop immediately to learn the techniques that his grandfather Giancarlo had once taught his craftsmen. Today, he is the mind and hand behind the cutting department, creating pieces with magnificent inlays in all types of fur. His direct hands-on experience has shaped him, and he now contributes to the company\u2019s creations by translating the designers\u2019 creative visions into finely crafted patterns.
